Jassal Gallery

Our shop is right near the Gurudwara Mai Nand Kaur in Ghumar Mandi. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around here. We have been at this location for a long time and we have seen a lot of people come and go. The gallery is basically a place where we keep our things for people to see and hopefully buy. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things for us. It is just us here every day. The shop itself is a bit old-fashioned. We keep the inventory on shelves and sometimes it gets a bit dusty if we have a lot of wind coming in from the street. Ghumar Mandi is a famous place for shopping so we get a mix of regulars and people who are just visiting for the day. We spend our time checking the items and talking to anyone who walks through the door. It is not always exciting work but it is what we do. We know most of the other shop owners on this block and we often share tea in the afternoons when things slow down. There are no big missions here, just a family trying to keep the business going in a competitive market. We don't have a website that does anything special. We just like meeting people face to face and showing them what we have in stock. It is a real place with real people.
