Jass Electrical Engineers Works

You can find us on Ludhuana Road in Dehlon. It is a typical roadside workshop where we handle all kinds of electrical engineering tasks. Jass Electrical Engineers Works is the name on the sign outside, which is starting to fade a little from the sun. The workshop is usually full of the sound of grinding or the hum of motors being tested. We have wires and cables hanging from hooks and scattered across the worktables. It is a bit of a greasy environment because of the machinery we work on, so our hands are rarely clean. The floor is mostly covered in metal shavings and bits of insulation. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a wooden bench outside under the shade if someone needs to sit down. Dehlon is a place where a lot of people are passing through on the road, so we get all sorts of jobs coming in. Some days it is busy with repairs, and other days we are just cleaning up the tools and organizing the spare parts. The lighting inside is from a couple of long tube lights that flicker sometimes. We just focus on fixing what is broken. It is honest work and we have been at this spot for quite a while now. The air smells like hot metal and ozone most afternoons. We just keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. It gets hot, but we are used to it by now.
