Ludhiana gets quite cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, and our office at 267 is where we spend most of our hours. It’s a quiet place compared to the busy markets outside. Inside Jai Bhole Astrological Remedies Research Centre, there are books and papers everywhere. We spend a lot of time looking at birth charts and trying to figure out why things are happening the way they are for people. It’s a slow process sometimes. People come in with all sorts of worries about their jobs or their families. We sit down, have some water, and just talk through the details. I don't like to rush things because looking at the stars and the numbers takes focus. The walls are lined with old texts and some charts we’ve drawn ourselves over the years. We’ve been here in Ludhiana for a long time now. It’s not a flashy office with modern furniture. We have simple chairs and a wooden desk that’s seen better days. The light comes in through the window and hits the dusty books. Sometimes we stay late when someone has a complicated problem. It’s mostly about listening and trying to find some kind of path through the trouble. We don't make big promises, we just look at what the research says and tell people what we see. It’s steady work and keeps us busy from morning till night. The neighbors are nice and it is a peaceful spot for this work.
