You can find us at House Number 1777 in Phase 2 of the Urban Estate. We are right off Dugri Road here in Ludhiana. It’s a busy part of the city, especially in the evenings when everyone is headed home. The office for Infosys Riken Instruments Ltd is basically a converted house, so it has a different layout than a standard commercial block. We have the different rooms used for different parts of the job. The entrance is right off the main street, so it’s easy to spot once you are in Phase 2. We deal with the typical Ludhiana weather, really hot in the summer and quite chilly in the winter months. We have a couple of air conditioners that work overtime during July. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we eat together in what used to be the dining area. There is a lot of movement on Dugri Road, so there is always something to see out the window. We’ve got some metal shelves for all the instruments and parts we keep on hand. It’s a bit crowded at times, but we make it work. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you knock on the door, one of us will just come and let you in. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it suits us just fine. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay on top of the schedule. We stay busy and the coffee is always hot in the pot. We like the neighborhood.
