You can find us right opposite Nishat Bagh Colony, back in Village Bhattian on the Jalandhar Road. It’s a bit of a drive out of the main city, but it works for what we do. We run a packaging unit here, specifically for the pharmaceutical industry. Making boxes and containers for medicines is a serious job because everything has to be just right. The factory floor is where most of the action happens. We have the machines running pretty much all day. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we’ve gotten used to the hum of the equipment. The team is mostly made up of people from the surrounding villages. We aren't some big corporate office with glass walls. It’s a practical space with concrete floors and stacks of cardboard and plastic everywhere. Sometimes the Jalandhar Road gets blocked with trucks, which makes our life a bit difficult when we are trying to ship out orders. We started Sohum Pharma because there was a need for reliable packaging in this region. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just make sure the dimensions are correct and the quality is what the clients need for their products. The weather can be a bit rough out here in the open, but we have a good group of people who show up and do the work every single day. It is a noisy, busy place but it's ours and we take care of the tasks that come our way without any fuss.
