Happy Chawla Property Dealer is located right here in Model Town, Delhi. My shop is at 626-L in the Delhi Chakla area. I’ve been working in this neighborhood for a long time now. People around here know me as Happy, and they know I’ve seen just about every house and shop that’s gone up for sale in Model Town. I don’t go in for all those modern marketing tricks. I just have my desk, my phone, and a lot of keys. Most of my business comes from people walking in or calling me because their cousin bought a house through me ten years ago. It’s a busy part of Delhi, and things move fast. I spend my days running around, showing flats, and talking to owners. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing, but I’ve done it so many times that I can usually spot a problem before it happens. I try to be direct with everyone. If a price is too high for the condition of the place, I’ll say so. I’m not trying to be a big corporate boss; I’m just a guy who knows real estate in this part of town. Model Town has changed a lot, with new shops and more traffic, but the way people buy houses stays pretty much the same. You just need someone honest to help you out. I keep a diary of all the properties I’ve seen over the years.
