Down here at 20R/A in Model Town, you will find Hairz Maker Unisex Salon. We are situated near Krishna Hospital, which is a big help for people trying to find us for the first time. Ludhiana is a big city, but this little corner of Model Town feels like home to us. Since we are a unisex salon, we see all kinds of people coming through the door. Men wanting a quick cut and women coming in for longer sessions. The chairs are usually occupied from mid-morning onwards. You can hear the constant hum of the hair dryers and the snipping sound of scissors. We keep a stack of old magazines on the side table for anyone waiting their turn. We spend a lot of time standing on our feet, so by evening, we are usually leaning against the counters during the slow moments. We take the capes off the hooks, wrap them around the customers, and get to it. No big fuss about anything. We just keep our heads down and work.
