Over in Model Town, specifically the Shastri Nagar side, you’ll find us. This hospital has been part of Ludhiana for quite some time. It's not a brand-new building with glass walls. It's more of a practical place. We have beds, we have doctors, and we have a lot of stairs. People from all over the city come here. Sometimes they get lost looking for the right wing. We help them out. The neighborhood is usually quite active. Being near Shastri Nagar means there’s always traffic nearby. We just get on with the work. Every day is a mix of different situations. Some people stay for a night, others for longer. We keep the records and make sure the floors are cleaned. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. We don't really use big words to describe it. It's just a hospital in a busy part of Ludhiana. The staff works in shifts. You might see a different face at night than in the morning. We try to stay organized, even when it gets hectic. There’s a lot of history in these walls. You can tell by the way the floor is worn in certain spots. We just keep the doors open and do the job. We aren't doing anything fancy. It's just about taking care of the patients who walk in. The building stays open all night and we just keep the lights on for the next person.
