The shop is right in Gill Main Market, which means it’s never quiet. Being near the Main Gate has its ups and downs because there’s always a lot of noise from the vehicles and people walking by. Gulab Property Dealer is just a small place, really. We’ve got a couple of plastic chairs for anyone who stops by and a desk that’s seen better days. Usually, the morning starts with a quick sweep of the front step because the dust from the market settles on everything overnight. We aren't trying to be anything special. We just know this market and the streets around it very well. If someone needs to find a place or has a question about a shop nearby, they usually end up here. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the day to pick up. Sometimes the neighbor from the garment shop comes over to complain about the parking, or we just watch the animals move through the crowd. It’s a simple way of working. There are no big meetings or fancy presentations, just us writing things down in a register and talking to folks who walk in off the street. The weather gets really dusty in the afternoons, so we keep the door halfway shut then. It's just a regular local business trying to keep up with things in the market every single day. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop here.
