Glow & Shine Beauty Saloon

We are over at SCO No.176 on Model Town Road in Ludhiana. If you’re familiar with the area, we are right across from the Baba Deep Singh shrine. It’s a very busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. Our shop is easy to see from the road. We’ve been here for several years now. It’s a standard setup with a few chairs for hair and a separate section for beauty treatments. The floor is tile and we try to keep it mopped, though with all the people coming in from the dusty road, it’s a constant job. We get a mix of people—some who are just passing through and others who have been coming to us since we opened. It’s not a very quiet place because of the road noise, but we keep a fan going which helps drown it out. We don’t have any big slogans or fancy marketing stuff. We just open up in the morning and stay until the last customer is done. Sometimes the tea man from next door brings us some chai and we sit for a minute when it’s slow. It’s a regular business run by regular people. We do our best to make sure the haircuts are straight and the prices are fair. That’s really all there is to it. We keep our tools sharp and our towels clean for whoever walks in.
