Gambhir Hospital

This hospital is located near the railway crossing on Raikoat Road in Mullapur. It’s a place that most people in town have passed by at least once. We have a decent amount of space here, but it’s not one of those massive city hospitals with glass walls. It’s more practical than that. We handle a variety of things since we are out here near the crossing. Sometimes the sound of the trains going by is pretty loud, but it’s just part of the atmosphere now. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we know the community well. We have beds for people who need to stay over and a small area for emergencies. It’s not always quiet; things can get pretty hectic when a lot of patients show up at once. We do our best to keep things organized, even if the filing system is a bit old-fashioned. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it serves the purpose. We don't have a fancy cafeteria, just a small spot to grab some water or wait. People from Mullapur and the surrounding areas come here because it’s convenient. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. We just keep the lights on and the rooms ready for whoever walks in. It’s a busy life working at a hospital like this, but we are used to the pace by now. We hope to be here for another twenty years.
