We are tucked away on 2nd Street in Kalsi Nagar. If you are coming from G.T. Road, you have to look for the Federal Bank at Dholewal. We are right behind it. Being in Ludhiana, it’s all about the machinery and the grease. At Fuhrer Machines Inc., we spend most of our time around metal parts and engines. The shop floor is usually covered in some kind of oil or metal shavings, which is just part of the job. It's not the cleanest work, but it’s what we do. The street can be a bit tight for bigger vehicles, but we manage to get the machines in and out. Most of our neighbors are doing similar things, so there is always the sound of hammers or lathes running nearby. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door with a smile. Usually, everyone is busy with a wrench or a screwdriver. We've been at this location for a good while now. The building is an old one, but it stays cool enough in the heat. We just focus on the mechanical side of things and making sure the equipment is put together right. It's practical work for practical people. If you find the bank, you’re basically there. Just walk around to the back.
