Fortis Hospital

Our Fortis Hospital in Chandigarh Chandigarh is a pretty busy spot. Chandigarh Chandigarh is a planned city, so everything is supposed to be in its place, but hospitals are always a bit messy by nature. I spend most of my time in the administrative side of things, but I’m out on the floor a lot too. You see everything here. People coming in happy because they’re going home, and others who look like they haven’t slept in days. We try to be helpful, but we’re humans too, so sometimes we’re just as tired as the visitors. The parking lot is usually a nightmare during peak hours, which is something we all complain about at lunch. The doctors here are just regular people who work really long hours. There’s no ego about it; everyone just wants to get through the list of patients. We have a lot of stairs, and I think I’ve walked miles on them by now. The cafeteria has some okay snacks, but most of us just bring stuff from home. It’s a solid place to work. It’s not about being the biggest or the flashiest. It’s just about being here in Chandigarh Chandigarh for the people who need us. We keep the floors clean, the lights on, and the doors open. That’s really all there is to it at the end of the day. It's just us doing what we can, and that feels like enough.
