Florian Salon

Florian Salon is located up on the first floor at 429-R in Model Town. We are right across from the Pink Plaza, which stays pretty busy most days of the week. If you are coming from Gulati Chowk, it is just a short distance away. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs to get to us, but it gives us a decent view of what is happening down on the street in Ludhiana. We spend a lot of our time just organizing the bottles and making sure the capes are washed and ready for use. The shop isn't tucked away; it's right where the action is, so we get a lot of noise from the market filtering in. On Saturdays, it gets a bit hectic and the waiting area fills up with people scrolling on their phones or chatting about local news. We don’t really do anything fancy here, just the usual hair and grooming work that people need. It gets hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front windows, so we keep the fans running constantly. We have been in Model Town long enough to know the names of the shopkeepers nearby and the guys who deliver the tea. It’s a simple business and we just focus on getting through the day’s appointments without too much fuss. We like the spot we have because it feels like we are part of the neighborhood.
