The clinic is over in Civil Lines, specifically at shop number 918/1 in Deep Nagar. Dr Inder Jeet Luthra has been working from this spot near Jhandu Chowk for a while. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you know where the Old DMC is. The room isn't very large but it has enough space for a couple of chairs for people waiting. Usually, it's a mix of regulars from the neighborhood and some new faces who heard about us from a friend. We keep a desk, some files, and the usual things you’d expect to see in a local office. Deep Nagar can get quite crowded in the evenings, so things move a bit slower then. We don't have a big staff, just the doctor and a bit of help to keep things tidy. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the window for some light until it comes back on. It’s quiet in the mornings before the main traffic starts up on the road. We see people with all sorts of small issues. There isn't any fancy decoration here, just white walls and some old calendars. We mostly focus on getting through the daily list of people who stop by. If you’re coming from the chowk, just look for the small board near the entrance. It's a simple setup for the community here. Most days are pretty much the same, which is fine by us. We just keep the door open and wait for whoever needs a checkup.
