Dhir Electronics

If you walk through Bagh Khazanchian 3, you will find Dhir Electronics tucked away among the other shops. We have been here for a long time, fixing all sorts of things that people bring in. The workbench in the back is always covered in wires, screwdrivers, and half-opened radios or televisions. It smells a bit like burning solder most of the time, which is just the way an electronics shop should be. We deal with a lot of small repairs, like fixing a remote that stopped working or figuring out why a fan isn't spinning right anymore. People in the neighborhood know they can just drop something off and we will take a look at it when we get a chance. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered because customers forget to pick up their things for months, but we manage to find space for the new stuff coming in. It is not a shiny showroom with bright lights. It is just a practical place where we do manual work with our hands. We have seen technology change from the big old tube TVs to the thin screens people have now. We still keep some of the old spare parts in the drawers just in case someone brings in an antique. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the market, so there is always something to look at while we wait for the soldering iron to heat up.
