Our place, Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, is tucked into Tagore Nagar. If you know Ludhiana, you know this part of town gets quite a bit of traffic. We aren’t just a hospital; we have the college side too, so there are always students around. It makes for a lively atmosphere, even if it’s a bit noisy. The building isn’t anything fancy. It’s a practical space designed for medicine and teaching. We have classrooms and hospital wards all mixed together. You’ll see people waiting in the corridors and doctors moving fast between departments. We don’t have a big corporate team making us look shiny. It’s just a local institution that’s been here for years. The floors are worn from all the feet walking on them, and the walls are covered with notices and schedules. It’s a real, working environment. We deal with all sorts of people from the neighborhood and further out. Tagore Nagar is a central spot, so we stay busy from early morning until late at night. We don’t use complicated language or try to sound better than we are. We just provide a place for people to get medical help and for students to get their training. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. The local tea stalls outside are always full of people taking a break. That’s just the way it is here.
