Dayanand Medical College & Hospital

We are located in the Tagore Nagar area of Ludhiana, right in Civil Lines and not far from the Rose Garden. Dayanand Medical College & Hospital is a pretty large operation. Because we are a hospital and a college, there is always a lot of movement. You’ve got the students heading to lectures and the patients coming in for checkups. It can feel a bit crowded and loud most days. Ludhiana is a busy city, and Tagore Nagar is no different. The building itself has different sections. Some parts are older and some are newer. It’s easy to get turned if you aren’t paying attention. We don’t have any marketing people telling us what to say. We just work here. The hallways are usually filled with families and staff members rushing around. Parking is almost always a headache because so many people come through every day. We aren’t trying to be a luxury place. It’s a working hospital. We have benches in the hallways and the smell of cleaning supplies everywhere. It’s honest work. The students learn by seeing real cases every day. We’ve been a part of this community for a long time, so people know what to expect. There’s no polish or corporate feel to how we do things. It’s just a big, busy medical center where we try to get through the daily tasks and help the people who come to see us.
