Chocovic

Chocovic is our little spot over at Fountain Chowk on Rani Jhansi Road. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always something happening outside the window. We deal with sweets and snacks, mostly chocolates and traditional treats. It isn't a massive factory. It’s more of a place where we put things together and sell them to people who stop by. The smell of sugar and cocoa is pretty much stuck in the walls by now. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just make snacks that we think taste okay and sell them at a fair price. Sometimes the shop gets crowded, and we have to ask people to wait a bit. We spend a lot of time packing boxes and tying ribbons. It’s a lot of handiwork. We aren't a corporate chain with hundreds of locations. It’s just this one place for now. We try to keep the shelves stocked, but sometimes we run out of the popular stuff before the day is over. The traffic at Fountain Chowk is a bit of a mess, so most of our customers are locals who walk over. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just have our products and a register. It’s a simple business, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and keep the chocolate moving. Every day is different here.
