Chiketa Eximan (India)

We are based in Ludhiana, over at 10523 Haqiqat Nagar in the Haibowal Kalan area. Ludhiana is known for being a hardworking city, and our neighborhood is no different. We run Chiketa Eximan (India) from a fairly plain building that blends in with all the others on the street. Our main focus is on the export and import side of things, so we spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to emails from different time zones. The office is often a bit cluttered with samples of products and stacks of shipping documents that need to be signed. We don't have any flashy signs or a modern lobby. It is just a place where we get the job done. The street outside is usually busy with delivery vans and people going about their business. We have a small staff, and we have all been working together for a long time, so we don't need many formal rules or long meetings. We usually have lunch together in the back room and talk about things other than work for a bit. It’s a practical environment where the priority is making sure the shipments go out on time and the paperwork is in order. We don't see the need for a corporate image because our clients just care that the work is finished correctly and on time without any unnecessary delays.
