Our place is at 537 Ghumar Mandi. It is quite close to the State Bank of Patiala, which makes it easy to explain to anyone who hasn't visited before. Ghumar Mandi is always crowded, so finding a place to park can be a real headache sometimes. We usually tell people to just park a bit further away and walk over. The office is just a regular room with a couple of wooden tables and some plastic chairs for whoever drops by. We have been working out of this spot for a good while. Usually, the morning starts with cleaning off the dust that comes in from the street. It’s a busy market area, so there is always someone passing by the door. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the day to get moving. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we just sit and talk about whatever is happening in the local papers. We keep our records in these big registers and some folders that have seen better days. It is a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. Most of the people who come in are locals who live nearby or work in the other shops. We don't have any big signs, just the name on the door. It’s a simple setup, but it works for what we do every day. We have been through a lot of rainy seasons here and the roof still holds up well enough.
