Our office is on Firozpur Road, right opposite Kaka Palace. If you know that stretch of road, you know it’s one of the main ways people get around town. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the traffic go by every day. Kaka Palace is a big landmark, so we just tell people to look for that and they usually find us without any trouble. We deal with all sorts of properties across this area. It’s just a few of us in the office, usually with the radio on and a pot of tea going. We don't do anything too fancy. People come in, tell us what they’re looking for, and we see what we have in our notebooks. Sometimes we have to drive all over the place to show different sites, and Firozpur Road can be a real nightmare with the traffic during rush hour, but we’re used to it. We try to be honest about the places we show. If a house has a leaky roof or the neighborhood is too loud for some people, we just say so. It’s better than having someone come back angry later on. We aren't a big corporate chain, just a local office that knows the streets and the landlords around here. We just take it one day at a time, helping people link up with the right property. The front window gets pretty dirty from the road dust, so we have to wipe it down almost every morning before we start.
