Beauty Art Salon

Our shop is tucked away in Kanchan Colony, right near the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Chowk. If you know Pakhowal Road, you probably know how the traffic can get around the circle, but it's a bit quieter once you turn into the colony. We’ve been at shop number 1118 for some time now. It’s a modest space, nothing too flashy, just where we do our daily work. We usually open up when the sun starts getting bright and stay until the evening rush on Pakhowal Road dies down a bit. There’s a lot of walking traffic around here because of the houses and other small shops. We spend most of our time keeping the mirrors clean and making sure the scissors are sharp. It’s just me and a couple of others here most days. We talk to the regulars about their families or what’s happening in Ludhiana while we work on their hair. It feels like a neighborhood spot because that’s exactly what it is. We don't have any big signs or anything, just the name on the front. Sometimes we run out of magazines for the waiting area, but nobody seems to mind much. We just focus on getting the job done right so people can go back to their day. It’s a simple living, and we like being part of this little corner of the city near the chowk.
