Batta Clinic

Batta Clinic is right in the heart of Doraha. If you live around here, you probably know where we are without needing a map. It’s a small town, and we like it that way because it means we see the same faces all the time. The clinic isn't very big, just a couple of rooms where we see patients and a small area for waiting. We don't have a website or any big advertisements. Most people just walk in when they have a cough or a fever. The building is older, and it has that character you only get with time. We keep a pot of tea going in the back for the staff, and sometimes the smell of ginger or cardamom drifts into the front. There’s usually a bit of dust on the windows from the road outside, but we try to keep the inside as tidy as we can. It’s a very local way of doing things. We hear the tractors going by and the sounds of the market nearby. Some days we are very busy with people coming in from the surrounding villages, and other days it is just a few locals stopping by to chat or get a quick checkup. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big reception team. It’s just us, the doctors and a couple of helpers, making sure people in Doraha have a place to go when they aren't feeling their best. We’ve seen families grow up here, and that’s just life.
