Basant Ice Cream

Basant Ice Cream is situated on Firozpur Road, right inside the Raghunath Mandir Market. We have been a part of this market for a very long time. Being so close to the temple means we see a lot of families and people out for the evening. The shop is quite simple and we have not changed the layout in years. We have the same old freezers and a few small tables for customers to use. We make our own ice cream mixes and let them sit so the flavor is right. It is not a quick process, but we do not like to rush it. The street outside is always full of cars and people looking for a bit of a break from their shopping. We don't try to compete with the big modern shops in the malls. We like our little corner here. Most of our staff have been with us since they were young, so we are like a small family. We get our milk from a local dairy we have trusted for decades. On Sunday nights, it gets so busy that we sometimes run out of the favorite flavors. We just tell people to come back the next day. We don't have a website or do any big promotions. We just rely on being here and doing our work. It is a decent, quiet way to run a shop.
