Our office is tucked away at 10-G in Dashmesh Nagar, right in the Improvement Trust Colony. We are in the M I G Building, which most people around here know because it is so close to the Dhuri Line. It is a pretty quiet area most of the time, except when the trains go by nearby. We have been working out of this space for a good bit, dealing with local plots and houses in the colony. Inside, the office is just a few desks and some stacks of files that seem to never get smaller. There is a ceiling fan that hums a bit too loud in the summer, but we are used to it by now. People usually just wander in if they see the door open. We spend a lot of time looking at maps of the local area and talking to people about where the new developments are happening. It is a simple operation here at Bansal Property Dealer. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who know the neighborhood well. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when the weather is nice to have a break. The phone rings a fair amount, mostly folks from the colony asking about prices or looking for a rental. We just try to keep everything organized and help out whoever stops by with their paperwork. It is honest work and keeps us busy from morning till evening.
