Balaji Real Estate is over here at Plot No-582 in Sudama Nagar. We’re right near the Sethi Gate area. Most days we are just sitting in the office with the fan going, waiting for someone to drop by and ask about a house or a piece of land. It’s been a bit dusty lately because of the road work nearby, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. We’ve got a couple of chairs for visitors and a desk that’s usually covered in maps and old files. When people come in, we just talk about what’s available in the neighborhood. It’s not a fancy place, just a small office where we try to keep track of who is selling what. Sometimes the phone rings all morning and other times it stays quiet for hours. We spend a lot of time walking around Sudama Nagar, checking on different plots and seeing how the new constructions are coming along. It’s a lot of legwork, really. We know the streets around Sethi Gate pretty well by now. If someone needs to see a property, we just grab the keys and head out. We don’t do much advertising, mostly just people hearing about us from their neighbors or seeing the sign when they drive past the gate. It’s a simple way to run things, but it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. The tea from the stall across the road helps pass the time on those long afternoons when the phone doesn't ring at all.
