My place is B 36 238 Vikas Nagar. Most people find me because I am near the Super Fine Bakery, which is a big landmark on Pakhowal Road. I ended up doing this because I liked messing around with colors and styles when I was younger. It is not always easy work because wedding seasons are very busy. I have to wake up at four in the morning sometimes to get things ready for a bride. My room is full of brushes, palettes, and different lights. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use battery lights. Clients come here or I go to their houses around Ludhiana. It gets a bit chaotic when there are many sisters and cousins all wanting their faces done at once. I try to keep my kit organized but by the end of a long day, everything is a mess. Pakhowal Road is usually noisy with traffic, but inside it’s a bit quieter. I use a lot of different products I have gathered over time. It’s just me working most of the time, though sometimes I have a helper for the hair part. I don’t have a big fancy salon, just this space in Vikas Nagar. It works for me and the people who come here seem to like the quiet atmosphere. I spend a lot of time cleaning brushes and making sure everything is sanitary for the next day. It is just a regular job but it keeps me very busy.
