Aslam Hair Saloon

Down in Ludhiana, we have Aslam Hair Saloon. The shop is located at 3117/4, over on Street Number 3 in Ganesh Nagar. If you are coming from Transport Chowk, we are not very far at all. It’s a pretty standard neighborhood spot. We have been working out of this small space for a bit, and it’s usually just about keeping the chairs filled and the floors swept. Ludhiana is a busy city, and this area around Ganesh Nagar gets its fair share of dust and noise from the traffic. We open the shutters early and get the fans going. It’s not a huge place, just a simple room with mirrors where we cut hair. People from the nearby streets stop by when they have a moment. We don't have much in the way of fancy decorations. It's just a regular hair saloon where the scissors are always moving. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a quick break, but mostly we’re just here waiting for the next person to walk through the door. Being near Transport Chowk means there is always a lot of movement nearby, so there’s never really a quiet moment on the street. We just do what we do and try to keep things simple. It’s an honest day’s work in a part of town that never really stops moving. It is just us here every day, working hard.
