Arpan Beauty Parlour

Being on Shingar Road means there is always traffic and noise from the cinema and the shops nearby. Our parlour is a modest place where we help the local women with their beauty needs. We have a few stations for hair and a separate corner for other things like threading or facials. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when we have more than three customers at a time, but we make it work. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but they are fine for now. We mostly get busy during the wedding season, but even on normal days, people stop by for a trim. We don't have any fancy machines, just the usual hair dryers and irons. The staff is just local girls who have learned the work over time. We aren't trying to be like the big salons in the city centers. We are just a neighborhood shop where you can get your hair done without spending too much money. Sometimes we run out of water if the tank isn't filled, but that’s just how things go. It’s a practical place for the people living around Ranjit Singh Park to visit.
