Anjali Beauty Parlour

Anjali Beauty Parlour is on Gali Number-2, over on Panj Peera Road in Haibowal Khurd. It’s a quiet enough street here in Ludhiana, away from the main road’s heavy traffic. Our parlor is just a small room we’ve set up to help the local ladies with their beauty needs. It’s tucked into the lane, so it feels more like a home than a shop sometimes. We have a few chairs, a big mirror, and our supplies neatly tucked away in cupboards. People usually just drop in when they’re walking by or after they’ve finished their house chores. There isn't any fancy signage, just a small board outside. We spend a lot of time chatting with the women who come in. We know about their kids, their weddings, and what’s happening on the block. It’s that kind of place. The street outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, and we’re always telling people to watch their step. We’ve been here for some time now, and it feels like we’re just part of the furniture in Haibowal Khurd. We don't try to be something we’re not. It’s just a place to get your eyebrows done or a haircut without making a big fuss about it. The work is steady, and we like the routine of opening the shutters every morning and seeing the neighborhood wake up. It’s a good, simple life.
