Almighty Creations

Almighty Creations is located down Street No 5 in Mahavir Jaiin Colony. It’s a bit tucked away in Sunder Nagar, so it’s quieter than the main markets. We’ve stayed in this spot at 3441 because the neighborhood is familiar and the people around here know us by name. It’s a small space, really. We have our tables set up for cutting and the sewing machines are lined up along the wall where the light is best. Sometimes the electricity acts up in this part of town, which slows us down, but we just wait it out or work on hand-stitching instead. We do a lot of different types of work, mostly whatever the customers bring in or what we’ve decided to make for the season. My hands are usually stained with some kind of dye or chalk by the end of the day. It’s not a corporate office with carpets; it’s a workshop where real work happens. We drink a lot of tea while we work, especially when it rains and the street outside gets a bit muddy. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy with the needles and thread to worry about that right now. We just try to get the stitching straight and make sure the buttons are on tight. It’s a local place for local people, and that’s how we like it. We aren't trying to be fancy.
