Kirat Arts

Our shop is located at Block No 17 on Allipuram Main Road in the Civil Lines area, specifically near Abdullapura Basti. It is an area that sees a lot of foot traffic and people moving about. We do art-related work here, though the shop looks more like a workspace than a gallery. There are usually brushes, paints, and frames leaning against the walls in various states of completion. The street outside is often busy, and you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be careful about where we put things so we don't trip over them. The light in the morning is quite good for working, which helps a lot. We have lived and worked in this part of Civil Lines for some time, so we know the local rhythms well. Sometimes the dust from the main road gets in, but we try to keep the work clean. People from the Basti often walk by and peek in to see what we are working on. It’s a simple setup with a few tables and racks for our supplies. We don't have any corporate branding or anything like that, just our name on the front and the work we do inside. It’s a quiet life for the most part, focusing on one piece of art at a time until it is ready for someone to take home.
