Zed - X Menz Parlour

If you head down Thimayya Road towards the Cantt area in Lucknow, you’ll find us at Zed - X Menz Parlour. We are in Shop No 3 inside the Shiv Complex. It’s a pretty central spot, right across from the Odean Cinema, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Being in the 226001 zip code means we are right in the heart of things. The shop itself is just one of those standard units in the complex. We keep the chairs lined up and the tools ready. The cinema across the road brings in a lot of people to the area, so there’s always noise and movement outside. In the mornings, I usually grab a tea from a nearby stall before opening up the shop for the day. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a place for men to come in, sit down, and get sorted out. The Shiv Complex has a few other businesses too, so there’s a bit of a community feel among the shop owners. Sometimes we stand out front and chat if it’s a slow hour. The floors need sweeping constantly, and there’s always a bit of dust from the road, but that’s just how it is. It’s a straightforward business in a busy part of Lucknow. We’ve been here long enough that the regulars don’t even need to give directions anymore. It’s just home to us now.
