Young Leaf Foundation

We have the Young Leaf Foundation located on Nawab Asgar Hussain Road in Lucknow. We are in Hambra Apartment, specifically room 202. It’s a busy part of the city, and being in an apartment building keeps us right in the middle of everything. We started this whole thing because we saw a lot of stuff in our neighborhood that could be done better. None of us are experts with big degrees from somewhere else. We’re just people from Lucknow who wanted to stay here and help out. The 226001 area is our home, and we’re proud of that. Our office is often a bit of a mess with papers and supplies everywhere, but we know where to find what we need. We don't waste money on fancy furniture or decorations. Every bit we have goes into the projects we’re doing. Sometimes we stay late into the evening, just sitting around and planning. It’s not always a smooth process, and we definitely have our disagreements. But we always figure it out in the end. It’s a very human way of working, without a big corporate handbook to follow. We just use our common sense and try to treat everyone with a bit of respect. If you’re ever in the building, feel free to stop by and say hello. We usually have some tea ready and we’re always happy to talk about what’s going on. It’s just us.
