We are located at A-5 in Brahma Puri, right on Faizabad Road in Lucknow. It’s a pretty busy spot, especially being so close to the Jugaoli Crossing. You can hear the horns and the traffic all day long. The shop itself is just a standard place for hair styling. I have been doing this for a long time and decided to stay here in Laxman Puri because I know the people. The floor is covered in hair most of the time because we stay busy, but I sweep it up when I get a break. The mirrors are old and have a few spots on them, but they show what they need to. It’s not like those big salons in the shopping malls. We just have the basics. People come in from the surrounding streets for a quick trim or a shave. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit on the bench outside and wait for it to come back. It's just part of life here. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun. I’m usually here from morning until late evening. It’s a good way to earn a living and talk to the neighbors. If you’re passing the crossing, you might see us. It’s a small, honest shop for the local crowd. We don't do anything too complicated, just what people ask for.
