Yamini Beauty Parlour

It is usually quiet in Rajendra Nagar during the early morning before the shops in Navyug Complex really get going. I have been opening Shop No. 2 at Yamini Beauty Parlour for a long time now. Usually, I spend the first twenty minutes just tidying up the chairs and making sure the mirrors are clean. People around here know where we are. It is just a small place, nothing fancy, but we keep busy enough with eyebrows, haircuts, and the usual things women need. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but nobody really minds because we are all chatting anyway. Most of my regulars live right around the corner, so I hear all the news about the neighborhood while I work. It is not a big corporate setup. It is just me and a couple of others helping out when it gets crowded on weekends. We have the basic stuff like facial creams and hair colors on the shelves. Sometimes the supply delivery is late, and I have to run out to get things myself. That is just how it goes when you run a small shop. I like being here in Navyug Complex because the light comes in nicely in the afternoon. People just drop in when they have time. There is no big sign outside, just the name, but everyone finds us. We keep things simple and try to do a decent job so people come back next month.
