Yamini Beauty Parlour

Yamini Beauty Parlour is situated in Raniganj, right inside New Pratap Mkt on Subhash Marg. It’s a busy part of Lucknow, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. The market is always crowded, which is good for business, though finding parking can be a bit of a headache for people. I started this parlour because there weren't many places nearby that felt personal. It’s just a small shop where you can come for a quick haircut or to get your eyebrows done without any fuss. We don't use those high-end machines or fancy terms. It’s just me and maybe one other person helping out on Saturdays. The room isn't huge, but it's enough to get the work done. I've spent many years here, watching the shops around me change hands, but Yamini is still in the same corner. We see a lot of office workers coming in during their lunch breaks or right before they go home. I try to keep the prices fair because I know the people who live around Subhash Marg. Sometimes we run out of water if the tank isn't filled, and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how running a business in an old market works. It’s a bit dusty outside with all the construction and traffic, but we keep the inside tidy. It's just a normal, everyday parlour for normal people. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of plastic stools for when it's busy.
