Xpert Mens Parlour

Xpert Mens Parlour is situated on Sabzi Mandi Road in the Charbagh area of Lucknow. We are quite close to the State Bank, so people usually find us without much trouble. Being near the vegetable market means it’s always lively around here. You hear the vendors shouting and see the crowds all day. Our shop is a place where men come to get a decent haircut or a shave without spending too much money. We have four chairs, and most of the time, they are full. We have a small television in the corner that’s usually playing the news or a cricket match if India is playing. It keeps people occupied while they wait. The barbers here have been working with me for a long time. We know the styles people in Charbagh like. Nothing too crazy, just clean and sharp. The mirrors are large and we keep the combs in those blue jars of liquid to keep them clean. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with hair when we have a rush, but we sweep it up as fast as we can. It’s a man’s space, no frills, just good work and a bit of chat about the local politics or the price of onions. We open early so workers can come in before their shifts start. It is a long day for us but we enjoy the work.
