Womanz Saloon

Our shop is Womanz Saloon and we are over in Kapoorthala. It gets pretty busy around this area. If you know Kapoorthala, you know how the traffic is, but once you step inside, it is a bit more relaxed. We have a few chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for a quick haircut or some threading. Most of us who work here have been around for a long time, so we all know each other's habits well. We started this place because we wanted something local where people didn't have to dress up just to come in. You can just walk in with your grocery bags and sit down for a bit. Sometimes the water heater takes a minute to get going, so we tell people to just wait and have some water. We don't do all those big fancy treatments you see on TV, just the regular things that make you feel a bit more like yourself. The floor needs sweeping every ten minutes because of all the hair, but that is just how it is. We keep the curtains open to let some light in, even though it gets a bit hot in the afternoons. It is just a plain, working shop for the ladies around here who need a break from their daily chores at home. We don't have a big sign out front, but people find us easily.
