Warsi Hair Saloon

You can find us in Chinhat, which is a bit of a distance from the main Lucknow city center. It feels a bit different out here, maybe a little slower. Warsi Hair Saloon is just a small local spot on the street. I don’t have a fancy address with a building name, just Chinhat. Most people who live nearby know exactly where I am. I’ve lived in this area all my life, so the shop is like a second home. The chairs are old, and the mirrors have a few spots on them, but they do the job just fine. I spend most of my day standing here. In the winter, it’s nice because the sun hits the front of the shop. In the summer, it can be a bit of a struggle with the heat, but we have a good fan that stays on. I don’t bother with advertisements or anything like that. Usually, someone walks by, sees an empty chair, and comes in for a cut. We talk about local things, like the roads or the new shops opening up. It’s a simple life. I keep my scissors sharp and the combs clean. That’s really all that matters in a place like this. Some days are very quiet, and I just sit outside and watch the traffic go by. Other days, I don’t even have time to eat lunch. It’s just a normal saloon for normal people who need a trim without any drama. We stay open late.
