Vj Welfare Foundation

Vj Welfare Foundation is located on the first floor of house number 16/625. We are right in the heart of Indira Nagar here in Lucknow. It’s a busy place with a lot of people moving around, which is actually pretty good for us because we stay connected to what's going on. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view over the street, though the stairs can be a bit much if you're carrying heavy boxes. We aren't a large group by any means. It’s just a few of us working out of this space. The rooms aren't huge, but they fit our desks and the few chairs we have for visitors. Lucknow is a big city, but Indira Nagar feels like its own little world sometimes. We’ve become a part of the local scenery over time. Our address is 226016, and people usually find us just by asking around the neighborhood or looking for the house number. We don’t do any big advertising or social media campaigns. We think it’s better to just do the work and let people see it for themselves. The office is pretty basic. We have a fan that rattles a bit and some old cupboards for our records and supplies. It’s a real place where real things happen every day. We don’t use corporate jargon or try to sound like we’re something we’re not. We just do welfare work in a way that makes sense to us.
