Ss Woods

You can find Ss Woods in Vishal Khand 1, right across from Gate No. 4 of the CMS School. It’s usually pretty loud around here because of the school traffic and the sound of our saws. We work with wood all day, so there is almost always a layer of sawdust on everything, including our clothes. We make various things, mostly furniture or frames that people ask for. The shop is filled with the smell of cut timber and polish. It’s not a polished studio; it’s a workshop where we actually get our hands dirty. We have piles of planks leaning against the walls and half-finished pieces sitting in the middle of the floor. Sometimes the wood delivery blocks the narrow path, but we move it quickly. Being opposite the school means we see a lot of parents and kids every day. It’s a busy spot. We don't use fancy machines for everything; a lot of the work is still done with hand tools because that’s how we learned. We aren't trying to be the biggest woodshop in the city, just a place where the work is solid and the wood is real. If you come by, you’ll probably see us middle of a cut or sanding down a table top. We just keep our heads down and get the orders finished on time.
