V Glam Unisex Saloon

We have been here at Rupam Chauraha for a while now. The shop is right on E Block Road in Rajaji Puram. Most people know the Andhra Bank here, and we are just on the upper side of that building. It gets busy in the evenings when the street lights come on and people are heading home. We have a few chairs and mirrors that have seen many faces over the years. Some people come in for a quick trim, while others stay a bit longer just to talk. It isn't a very big place, but it works for us. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast on Saturdays, so we are always sweeping. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a little clicking noise, but we are used to it by now. The view from the window shows the traffic moving toward the main crossing. We keep some old magazines on the table for people waiting, though most folks just look at their phones these days. Rajaji Puram is a decent neighborhood to work in because you see the same families walking by every day. It feels like home to us. We just do our work and go home when the sun goes down. There is nothing fancy about how we run things here. Just some scissors, combs, and a bit of daily chat. If the bank downstairs is open, there is always a crowd outside. We just keep the door open to let some air in. Life moves along here in Lucknow.
