Uttar Pradesh Medical Supplies Corporation Limited

Our office is tucked away on Jagat Narayan Road in Lucknow, right inside the Directorate of Family Welfare building. We go by the name Uttar Pradesh Medical Supplies Corporation Limited. It’s a government-related setup, so there are always lots of files, binders, and stacks of paper moving around. We mostly handle the heavy lifting of getting medical supplies to where they need to go across the state. It’s a lot of phone calls, spreadsheets, and keeping track of inventory in different warehouses. The building itself is an older one, which is typical for this part of Lucknow, and the hallways can be a bit dark. It gets pretty busy with people coming in and out all day long. We don't really sell things to individuals who walk in off the street; our work is more about the bigger picture of supply chains for clinics and hospitals. The 226003 area is quite crowded, especially during the morning rush. We have a team that manages the distribution schedules and talks to the drivers. It’s not a glamorous job, just moving boxes and checking lists to make sure nothing gets lost. We deal with various vendors and try to make sure the trucks are on time despite the traffic. Most of the people working here have been in the department for many years. We know the routines well. It’s a bit of a maze in this building sometimes, but we just focus on getting the supplies moved out.
