We started this little place in Vivek Khand 3 because we live around here and know the Gomti Nagar area well. Being near the ICICI bank helps people find us, which is good because these narrow streets can be a bit confusing sometimes. We keep things simple here. Most days involve just trimming hair or helping someone get ready for a family event. It’s not a big fancy place, just a ground floor shop where the chairs are usually full and the tea is always hot. We’ve seen kids grow up coming here, starting with their first haircut and now they come in as adults. It’s funny how time goes. People talk about their day while we work, and we listen. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the music is on and three people are talking at once, but that is just how it is. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just us doing what we know how to do. If you are walking past Gf 3/71, you will probably see us through the window. We try to keep the place clean, though on busy Saturdays, the floor gets covered in hair faster than we can sweep it. That's Lucknow life for you, especially in a busy part like this. We just open up in the morning and stay until the last person is done. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. We just have a few chairs and some old newspapers.
