Vibhav Khand is a pretty quiet part of Gomti Nagar compared to the rest of the city. Our place for Tutor Zone is at 4/368, and it’s basically just a regular house that we converted into a space for classes. It feels more like a home than a school, which I think makes the students feel more relaxed when they are here. We have a few different rooms for various subjects. The furniture is a bit of a mix of things we have picked up over time. We didn't want it to feel like a cold institution. There’s a small area where people can wait, and we usually keep some old newspapers or magazines there. The garden outside is a bit overgrown, but we try to keep the inside as tidy as possible. We don't have a big reception desk or a secretary. Usually, whoever is free just goes to answer the door when someone knocks. It is a very informal way of doing things, but it seems to work for everyone. We know most of the parents in this part of Lucknow. We often talk about the traffic or the weather while they wait to pick up their kids. Gomti Nagar has changed a lot, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the students have what they need for their exams.
