Pantomaths

Pantomaths is located right in the heart of Hazaratganj. If you know the area, you know how crowded and lively it gets. Our place is tucked into one of those buildings where the stairs are a bit narrow and you can hear the street noise even when the windows are shut. We focus on teaching and sharing knowledge, so the rooms are mostly just filled with chairs, tables, and books. Lots of books. They’re piled up on the floor and stuffed into every shelf we have. Students come in and out all day, some looking tired after their regular classes and others ready to get to work. Hazaratganj has a certain energy that rubs off on the place. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It’s more like a lived-in study space where everyone is welcome to sit down and learn. Sometimes we run out of chalk or the markers go dry, and someone has to run out to the local shop to grab more. We drink a lot of chai from the vendor downstairs while we talk about the lessons. It’s a very grounded environment. No one is trying to impress anyone with big words or shiny furniture. We just care about making sure the students understand what they’re reading. The fans overhead aren't the quietest, but they do the job. It’s just us doing our thing in a busy part of the city, day in and day out. We just keep the doors open and the lights on for anyone who wants to learn.
