Tiwari Provision Store

Tiwari Provision Store is located right across from Study Home College, so things stay pretty lively around here. We get a lot of students coming in between their classes to grab a quick snack or maybe some pens and notebooks. Because of the location, we have to stock a lot of different things that younger people need, but we still carry all the regular home supplies for the families in Indira Nagar. The shop stays quite busy in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get their milk and bread. We’ve got a small stool behind the counter where we sit when things finally quiet down in the afternoon. It’s not a very big space, and sometimes the boxes of chips take up more room than they should. We try to keep the prices where students can afford them. Sometimes they come in just to ask for change or to leave a message for a friend. We’ve become a bit of a landmark for the college kids over the years. We don't do any big promotions or sales. People just come because they know we’re here and we usually have what they’re looking for. The shelves are made of old wood that we’ve painted a few times to keep them looking decent. It’s a plain, simple life running a shop like this, but it keeps us busy and connected to the local community. We just make sure the stock stays fresh.
