Aroura Fruit Industry

Our business, Aroura Fruit Industry, is based at Siddhu Niwas, right by the Pandariba Crossing in Charbagh. It is a very busy intersection, and there is always something going on outside our doors. Being in Charbagh means we are right in the thick of the trade. We deal with fruits of all kinds, mostly getting them from the growers and preparing them for the markets. It is a sticky business sometimes, especially when the mangoes are in season. The office is an old building, but it has a lot of character and it’s been in the family for a long time. We don't use fancy software to track everything; a lot of it is still done with pen and paper because that’s what we trust. Our days start very early, often before the sun is even up, because that is when the fresh fruit arrives. We have to move fast before things start to spoil in the heat. There are usually baskets and crates stacked up everywhere you look in the warehouse. We aren't big on titles or fancy roles; everyone just grabs a crate and helps out when the trucks arrive. It’s a noisy, fast-paced life here at Pandariba Crossing. We just try to keep the fruit fresh and the buyers coming back. It’s what we’ve always done and we’re still here doing it every single day. No big secrets, just moving fruit from the farms to the city.
